does anyone know if you can put a manual tranny from a ms6 into a cx-7?

Mechanaly it can be done, however the TCM (trans control module) will throw a fit if it detects a missing tranny.

Being that Mazda has released a 6 speed manual CX-7 in europe i'm sure that
it would be possible. But practical is another question. Might be easier to either import a euro CX-7 or transplant complete engine-tranny from MS6.

I agree it would have been a sweet option that I would have ordered. however to add one you'd have to have more money than sense.

More than likely correct...unless you own a junkyard or are friends with someone that does. Its a matter of time before ms3's and ms6's end up in the junkyard. Maybe its time to make friends with a jy owner. :)
