Hey guys, i know this goes against general forum conduct, but I dont have a lot of time tonight to search and I need help. Today I got a CEL and got it read. I was told it was "MAF high output". I have had my CAI on for about 18 months and 10,000 miles and this is my first CEL. Another concern I have is that I have recently had issues with my rear motor mount, and I am wondering if the fact that my engine is moving around a little more than normal may have helped this. I will be bringing my car to a dealership on thursday (day off), but I was wondering if you had any words of wisdom? Thanks!

sounds like you got it figured out with your engine mount issue... shouldn't you have boost by now?

I guess this is another question I need to ask. Since I will be boosting before too long (if all goes well with new EMS), and my EMS will not be using the MAF, is the "MAF high output" CEL a major issue that needs to be fixed?

you may have pulled the wires out of the plug on your MAF.(es if you have a bad motor mount) Are your two plastic clips that hold the wire harness to the battery box disconnected from the battery box? they should be otherwise you have a chance of that happening. If you have a oil based air filter it may have dirtied up your MAF. Buy some electronic cleaner at AZ and clean your MAF. I would do this before you take it to the dealer if your car's out of warranty it may save you some $$$$$
