View Full Version : Fellow CANADIANS, please help me
If you bought your MS6 in Canada, please post your province and how much you paid. I keep hearing about these HUGE deals and yet my dealer won't budge on the price.
Americans please don't bother replying. No offence, but you just can't compare american and canadian car prices, they simply cost much more out here.
Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat. I have a GT sitting in the lot waiting for me to pick it up this week.
Deal so far;
$15500 for my 2004 Mazda 3
$37200 purchase price after the Ford X-plan factored in
.9% financing for 60 months
Ends up $456 per month after licensing, taxes etc.
The only deal appears to be the low financing which would equate to around $2000 off the purchase price.
456 is good. Go for it. Heck, I'm paying 500 for mine on a lease.

That works out to over $3000 under dealer cost that car, not likely.

I got $3000 off on the car. I don't think you should accept anything less since the 07's are coming out soon.

The point is NO ONE in Canada can buy a MS6 at that price and you are misleading people who are seriously trying to work out a deal.
it's not unreasonable to get 3k off of a 06' model right now. Maybe even 4k, but you are going to work for it.

Yeah, you should be able to get $2k-$3k off an 06 right now in Canada. The P5freak dude is claiming a discount of about $7000 which is an outright lie.
yeah, 7grand is quite a bit......actually it is a fucking lot!
:)
But hey, if you know the right people....

Got quoted 38,230 for freight and PDI, ac tax. They don't have a black w/black leather in their lot, they have to get one from another dealer. What do you think about that price? I'm in BC.

My final price for a black on black leather GT was $37,247 after the ford X-plan (4% above invoice) plus AC ($100), plus freight ($755), plus "pre delivery" expense ($520)Protector plus anti-theft ($279).
$38,897 total
I got $15,500 for my 2004 Mazda 3 GT (45,000km).
60 month financing at .9% and financed the extra year bumper to bumper ($550 and change).
Monthly payment of $466
Don't be fooled by unbelievably low prices you see on some forums. When you check the fine print, some of these guys are paying upwards of $2500 for freight.
I've seen the dealer invoices (under the counter) and for the base Sport, its close to $33000, $35811 for the GT.
I got higher quotes from Toronto dealers.

Thats about $2000 discount. Thats a fair price, especially if they are paying to freight the car from another dealer. You could probably grind out a few hundred $ more, but if you let the dealer make a little you will probably get treated better when it comes time to service the car.

Yeah, alot of the claims on the Internet of big discounts are fictious. Especially in Canada, big discounts on imports don't happen. Sounds like you got a pretty fair deal to me.

Thanks guys. I figured the price was half decent for a speed6. There's a demo in town for a little less, but I figure I'll stay away from those. They just get bagged when they are taken out for test drives, with little or no break-in. We've all done it.

I just paid $37,500 for a MPS6 - GT, incl. delivery, docs, etc. Only thing extra was optional warranty and taxes. Bought it at Wolfe's in Langley. I was very satisfied with the service, and worth the trip from Kelowna to get it.
I got mine from Sydney Mazda in North Sydney Nova Scotia. Great guys, talk to Mike or Sean.

What sucks in Canada, the same cars you buy in the USA are much more expensive and it's impossible to get an amazing deal. Oh and any dealer will give you close to fuck all for your trade and mark it up several thousand dollars. Factor in the additional wear and tear cost due to exagerated amou nts of salt dumped on roads in winter and terribly maintained roads if you live in Quebec. And did I forget insurance rates that make you feel like your wallet is naked. wops almost forgot the 30%-40% higher gas prices.
It costs Canadians almost double the price to buy, operate and maintain a vehicle then are fellow americans. You guys down south are really lucky.

Ok, looking at Mazda Canada I don't see anything about MS6 GT or touring. All I see is the one for $35, then the ones with Roof, Black leather, and the one with white/black interior.
