I am a bit confused about how the exact model matters if you are replaceing them.

You seem to have your wiring crossed when it comes to speakers.
The only real reason to change them is that you do not like the way they sound. So if its technicly a more expensive speaker or not, its the sound that matters. Hit some local audio stores...not Best Buy or crap like that and listen to everything you can with CDs you know and like. No MP3s and no ipod stuff.
If the front speakers are not loud enough for you, then its an amp you need.
The kenwoods are just the basic drops in level of speaker. Near the $100/pair range.

Well the reason I got them is because I got 2 sets of speakers front/rear for only $50.00. I got the second set for free, so I figure why not just buy them.

Those are them if you have any feedback.
Their only 5.25"
The stockers should give out more midbass but you might aswell listen to them as you already bought them and see what you like better.
