Guys,
Do not flame me, but I am just setting a poll to see what is your opinion on a couple of cars.
I need to change vehicle because of work and the Speed is not in the list.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not really a fan of that look, but of the three I would pick a magnum. I know a guy who has one and loves it.

Isn't the SXT the base model? See I really do not know much about Dodge's trim levels. I've driven both Magnum and Charger R/Ts and a 300C Hemi. Out of the three I would pick the Magnum because its a sportwagon.

i think the SXT is the midlevel engine w/ some chromey bits. the midlevel 6 is apparently not too bad, but i've heard the base V6 just isn't enough.
magnum b/c of the wagon. wagons FTW.
yay for slushbox.

Look at actual fuel mileage and requirements. I'm not in a position to quote anybody, but I've been hearing awful things

What requirements do these vehicles fufill for your work. If it is to impress clients, go 300. If utility, go Magnum. Personally, the Charger would be my choice, but with a hemi maybe srt8. The magnum has terrible blind spots, I hear.

This is the plan:
If all goes as planned, I will be moving to Miami in September. At that point I will be working with an Electrical-Electronics company. I will probably have to drive around, talk to customers, let people use my car (family or friends coming to visit me) and let's not forget the heat.
That is way I am not sure about the MSP because the shifter gets gummy when is hot and you shift a lot, the bushings keep squeaking with the hot weather after numerous greasing actions and replacements, and the intercooler sucks and it is hot in Florida.
That is my reasoning.

of these choices, i would go with a black charger. i love wagons and all, but a black charger with tinted windows just looks badass.

how about thinking out of the diamler-chrystler box.
poorly built,monsterous,slow,piles of american shit.
fact is,it's cheaper to make thiings in other countries due to labor, and meterial cost,so in the end you take a american car,and a foriegn car(european excluded) for the same price, and the foriegn car will be a better piece of equipment.
just my 2 cents.

My MSP runs fine down here. I'd get a Passat over any of those.

Passat, Camry, Accord, Azera, TSX, Mazda6, Jetta, Mazda3, CX-7...
Money sounds like a concern so why not go used? Seriously, that DC platform is fashionable now, but its going to be a real bucket-of-bolts in two years.

You guys have all good opinions.
Thanks for the inputs.
So you guys have no problems with MSP in Florida running stock set-ups?

All three are pretty much the same, I say go with whichever is least expensive and you can get a good deal / discount on.

If your looking for a car to impress clients what about a used Acura TL, Lexus IS300, or ES300. All have great relability and the luxury name. If it were my choice, I'd go with the TL, due to a six-speed manual availability. I'm not sure how much you're looking to spend though.

i do not want to impress anyone.
I am just seeing if I need something more practical in traffic and more easy to use even for others.
Thanks for info

Not a bad idea.
I will keep looking.
You guys helped me out a lot.
I will find a vehicle or maybe I will just my MSP and remove the wing :-)

I like the Magnum better than the Charger and 300. SO, I chose the Magnum.

I have looked at many other alternatives ranging from grand prix, G6, Legacy, but I think that I might actually like the ford fusion the most.
It is not too expensive and I think it will be a work vehicle.
I will test drive them once I get my license back.
