Help. Wires for wing

ok time to upgrade from the pos HU that comes with the msp. Im taking out all the old wiring/amp and putting in all new wiring for new subs/amp/hu. I noticed there is a black/light blueish color wire that was going along with the ground/power and rca cables on the driver side lower panels. I broke the wire somewhere but I cant figure out where, I followed the wire and it leads up through the trunk into the wing it looks like. I tried the brake light and it works fine, does anyone have any idea what this wire is used for?

i believe its the rear defroster wire (i know its black n blue) look on your MSP amp rack and there wil be a black box attached to it on the driver side, see if its the same color.
