Honda Civic Type R GT announced

Honda’s approach to building performance cars is unlike any other. It’s not just about building the most powerful or fastest car in the world. It’s about creating a well-engineered driving experience.
The 2007 Civic Type R will feature responsive steering, intuitive handling and exhilarating performance in a more sophisticated package.
Under the bonnet, a high-revving 2.0-litre iVTEC engine produces a strong 200PS, and Honda’s tuning specialists have further developed the powerplant to improve efficiency and deliver thrilling acceleration.
The new Type R will also have a GT grade, which will offer extra equipment such as dual zone air conditioning and automatic rain and light sensors.
British fans will get their first chance to see the Type R Concept when the car is displayed at the British International Motor Show in London during July. The Civic Type R goes on sale in the UK in March 2007.

I would buy or take a CTR anyday over a Murano. If you didn't know I had a 06 Murano.

btw, i never see anyone say this in those threads you make all the time but i really appreciate all those posts you make in the News section. alot of great info and pictures. i rarely post in those thread but i read most of them. thanks man keep it up!

Yeah, good job on keeping us updated! That Civic is a little overstyled for my tastes. I'm sure it will be a great car, but even for me, the styling a little too funky!

its a concept painted in white for the british autoshow. they arn't gonna get those 20inch wheels or those massive brakes.

I think it looks nice!I like it better than the fugly 06 Si that looks like a shoe!It's a shame that they aren't bringing it here.

Anyway,you guys have to remember that both pics of the CTR and the Evo X are still concepts.Honda,Mitsubishi or any other manufacturer that has 20s on their concept car, are not gonna have OEM 20s on these cars because they know tires are gonna cost an arm and a leg.

i'd sport that car. not too hot on the rear, but it'll grow on me.
