Well, more of a scrape which probably happened in a parking lot while I was away.
Luckily, the black housing around the foglight took all the impact.
I checked and I think the part can just pop out without having to take the bumper off. Can someone please confirm? I'm going to go ask Mazda how much the part costs.
You can't keep anything nice!!

Someone dinged my rear passengers door and my rear passenger-side bumper about 2 weeks ago. I am not exactly sure when it happened...I think that it was when I was at work, but I suspect they happened at the same time because both left white paint marks on my black beauty. It seems that Ottawa people are generally challenged when it comes to parking.
The bumper will hopefully polish out enough that it is only noticeable if you really look. The door, on the other hand, will need to be fixed cause the dent is right below the waist-line crease and it really stands out when the light hits it.
I have been parking away from other cars in parking lots since then and straddling spaces when there are only a few spots left just so that there will be a little bit more space between my car and the next potential denter!

my own brother hit me in the rear 3 days after i purchased my ms6!! it was almost $4000 to fix it, i had insurance of course, $500 deductible. they had to change the bumper, fix the back left side of the car, where the gas cap is, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but it came out like new.

How about this...? I took delivery of my MS6 yesterday afternoon, and early this afternoon today (less than 24 hours) I came out to my car in the parking lot to find a shopping cart had rolled (hopefully not pushed) into my rear bumper corner leaving 3 scratches. One goes down to the plastic, so you can see black. I was PISSED. Not sure whether to leave it alone or take it somewhere like Carsmetics and see if they can't fix it. First freakin' day of ownership, I mean come on.

oh man that sucks, i think mazda sell the touch up paint, if the scratch is not too big it'll look good.
