She is having problems with the LCA and ball joint and i cant remember what other parts she said i know its for the front end, and people told her that she wont be able to get parts for it cause they are not made any more. i told her not to lose hope cause i can ask around for her on the mazda forum's and mabe a few other mazda oriented forum's to try to help her out. i will be giving her a link to here and a few other places so she can ask question's and get answers from people that know about mazda's
thanks for the help in advanced
ps i hope i posted in the proper place. if i did let me know so i can put it in the correct place

With as popular as the Miata is in motorsports, I can bet you that the parts are still available from Mazda.
For a used LCA, have a look at eBay, www.mazdarecycling.com (http://www.mazdarecycling.com), and www.mazmart.com (http://www.mazmart.com) .

humm i will let her know.
yea that's what i was figuring that the Miata was popular and why Mazda would stop making somthing for a popular model of car. and why the person told her that stuff for that car is no longer made by the dealer or aftermarket
she wants new parts im thinking but i can let her know about those sites

There are several Miata specialists salvage yards. Check the Marketplace section on www.miata.net.
Also, try Trussville Mazda in Alabama; they seem to specialize in Miatas and have a good reputation in the Miata community.

Coolness. I was unaware that FM junked cars as well.

Don't forget www.partsgroup.com (http://www.partsgroup.com)
They've got a pretty good selection, and have helped me in the past.

I'd recommend getting a pair of OE units from any of the previously mentioned links.

Getting the lights from any of the recommended links in this thread, as already mentioned, should not be a problem if it is the stock lights you need. I strongly recommend FM and there salvage service. Those guys really know what they are talking about.

For the sake of the drivers behind the car, I sure hope not.
"Clear corner" lenses were the worst aftermarket accessory ever manufactured for a car (followed by universal HID 'kitz' and "Altezza" styled lenses). The amount of light diffused by these units during the day equals only a small fraction of that diffuised by the OE tails.
By using these, your friend is asking to be nailed in the rear (pun intended?) Aside from that, I haven't a clue where they can be found.

i told him to put the OEM, they are brighter and give a better look at the car but he loves thoses that he has. altezas are the worse. they look very....cheap and bad quality.
