View Full Version : In-dash popup monitor
Does anyone know anything about those pop-up monitors?
They look pretty cool, but I have no idea how much it cost and all...
I'd luv to install 1 of those things
from what I can see, I can only find:
http://www.daiwooco.com/edaiwoo/p_showall.asp?pid=91&ida=2&idb=48&idc=0
Yet it shows nothing about how it installs, or how much it is... they say you can connect that up to a reverse camera too, which would be absolutely cool... I tried emailing the contact mentioned there... hope she answer me soon...
any information would be good :)

$1800 is abit steep for a monitor...
One of the post in this forum mentioned something about it, but the post was locked due to vendor restriction?
I got an email back from the people at daiwoo, and they said they only sell it to dealership, and only sell it in Taiwan as well. So... :(

Yeah its a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. Ive got the pioneer indash and mines got Navigation, DVD player, thouch screen, all sorts of features. Yes you can get them cheaper, but again, you get what you pay for.
And you can get on ebay and find new ones for like $950. Look up pioneer AVIC-n1. If you go with the N1 it wont have all of the retarted safety features that the newer ones have.
looks alright... but still not as nice as customized pop up one... that suits perfectly for mazda 3s. Also, I already bought a tomtom go as my gps not long ago... so getting something like that would just be a waste of money :(
Thanks anyway!
