I am thinking about running a corksport S&J pipe connected to a catless MAM midpipe....will this then bolt directly to the remaining stock exhaust? Will I still have one of the cat's ( i am clueless as to the stock setup)
Thanks in advance.

Running Corksport S & J pipes connected to a catless MAM midpipe should bolt up to the rest of the exhaust just fine. Just make sure the mid-pipe has a flex section.
Also, the MAM catless midpipe eliminates BOTH cats (both stock cats are located in the mid-pipe), so if you use it you won't have any cats and would thus fail any emissions inspection.

Oh wait, you're in Canada-land. I have no idea how emissions stuff there is set up.

thnks matrix, so if the mam is a strictly bolt on affair then it shouldn't be much of an issue to swap the stock one back in for the emmisions test?
Nope, shouldn't be a problem, just a pin in the butt to actually do it.

That's correct, it is a simple bolt-on install. Installation shouldn't take more than an hour at the most if you do it yourself with the proper tools.
Be sure you have a proper O2 removal tool. The O2 sensor seems to be made of a softer metal, so using a regular wrench or socket will damage it.

It will bolt up no problem, I have a similar set up but I have a custom mid pipe with a flex after the mid pipe. You will ned the flex or the S pipe will break be sure you have that and also some motor mounts, it's too much trouble to do the work twice so be sure you have motor mounts and a flex when you install the s pipe.

u can use a pipe wrench to get the 02 snesor out, OR if u gonna use a wrench... get the exhaust hot and it comes out MUCH easier. also might want a CEL elimintaor www.apexr1.com also, ive heard some kind of bad things about the corksport s-pipe. good luck. if theres anyway u can afford the huge GHL pipe, GET IT!

I am considering this myself.

well wen the motor flexes a little it goes el snap-o or cracks or soemthin. i gess if u do motor mounts and have a flex pieced in ur downpipe u probly be ok.

Yeah what he said, it really helps out more on the higher boost but it's not noticeable under normal driving. It doesn't get any louder in case someone is worried about that.

haha, i ran 15psi on stock motor mounts one time and snapped my cats into two pieces... man wen i took those mounts out, they were gone. no more cats though. oh man, that sucked. haha.

i have the corksport s and j-pipes into the MAM catless into a magnaflow catback...it worked out really nice, sounds good, very good gains...but as someone else previously said absolutely protect your investment with the AWR motor mount replacements. Spit some WD-40 on the bung to get the o2 sensor out more easily. Mine came out no prob. Also you will get the CEL for having no cats...and you should at some point also switch out the stock cat-back for something with more flow. That setup sounds really nice though, no ricey-ness.
