Hi all,
I just wonder if anyone of you guys are running an aftermarket EBC (eg: Greddy Profec Spec B II) with the Unichip.

I am planning to do so due the the boost spike on the high boost setting with the Unichip supplied EBC (spikes to 15psi...oh my..)

My question is, so I just simply disconnect the UC EBC by disconnecting(or should I say cutting it?) the 2 wires coming from the UC harness to the EBC? will the Unichip work correctly even without its own EBC connected?

If I would want to run the Unichip high boost setting (flick the switch) with the greddy EBC, I just set the greddy EBC no more than 10-12psi since the high boost setting on the Unichip is setup for that boost level?

Hope I can make it more clear. Thanks a lot in advance

There are people using their own EBC with the Unichip, I don't see why it would be a problem.

If i get out of work on time today I'm going to install my unichip and I have the greddy profec II. I'll let you know how it goes.

It works fine. I've been running mine with a JoeP MBC the last 8 months or so.
