03 msp need more power

hey i just got a 03 msp. I have had about a month and want more power now it has a aem cai and a 3inch magnaflow exhaust. I am planing to get it to 210-230 whp at 12 psi just not sure what mods i need this is my list so far im planing on geting please tell me what i need or don't.

Unichip Plug and Play Engine Management
Joe P. MBC IL Series inline boost controller

I have magnaflow Exhaust but it does not have the downpipe it not real a problem cuz a guy in my town will sell me a apexi 2.5 down pipe with cell fix for 125can. but do i need it thought.

If you're gonna be boosting then the answer is yes. Your object should be a full turbo back exhaust especially with your power goal. I don't know much about the Unichip but if I'm not mistaken it uses it's own ebc. If not I would suggest that you go with some other sort of ebc cuz of the problems others on the forum have had with mbc's wanting to spike terribly. I personally purchased the Perrin MBC because I don't plan on boosting over 8-9 psi in the near future.

At 12 psi you'll definately need the ems...turboback exhaust(including the s-pipe which is pretty restrictive)...CAI...well...basically you will need all the basic bolt ons and if you have plans on runnin higher boost build the bottom end with some forged internals...210 whp is definately an acheivable goal. I think the question is what mods does sam not have? Haha... If this is the "Used in Our MSP" from the Crossover website then it's pretty stacked with parts.

Don't get a MBC you will risk at spiking mroe and it can blow the engine. Get a EBC instead its well wourth the money. But DO whatever makes you happy. Just don't go zoom zoom boom

I'm deciding to go with the Greddy Profec Spec B II...the name goes something like that. I cheapest I have found it is for $319 shipped. You can look on Street Unit, Protege Garage, cross over auto
Or what i check too, Ebay.

The HKS EVC II is being sold in the forums, but i rather get a new EBC for the same price. ALot of people run the Greddy

False info... while some MBC's may create spiking problems, some are very very good. EBC is the biggest waste of money out there... even moreso than a damn turbo timer IMO. If you want a GOOD MBC, check out the Mental Addiction section for a thread about BoostSciences products.

I think ill just go with ebc wast or not. someone told me if i up the boost ill need a new wastgate is this true. There are no other little things im forgeting about if please tell me.

No you dont need a new wastegate. Just a boost controller.
