my exaust manifold is cracked...

so yea, havin the turbo rebuilt n the guy called me 2 tell me its cracked under the heat shield. hes gunna grind it a lil bit then weld it. hes done it before n it works as a temporary fix.

wondering:

1. this happened 2 anyone else? i blame heat....

2. any ideas on price 4 a new manifold? should i upgrade?

3. how can i get the car 2 cool down? it really overheats under heavy driving n at the track....

Its pretty common, I've heard of a few cracking. It would be a great time to upgrade to a new manifold. Look for MAM to have some new cast tubular manifolds in the near future!

As soon as the mold gets here... I don't know for sure, If you want a tubular one, Gboromsp is selling his with no wait since he doesn't have his MSP anymore, and its brand new.
