Hey Folks,

The car is gone so I no longer need my J&S Safeguard. It was in the car for all of about 3 months and works perfectly. The installation is simple and it works exactly how it should. The cost is a small price to pay for the piece of mind that comes with knowing your engine is safe, and the cost is much less than a new engine.

I shouldn't need to explain further what this does, as there is plenty of information on the forum that goes into great detail. But in short, the J&S Safeguard uses it's knock sensor to sense detonation before you can even begin to hear it and will pull timing just long enough to prevent knock and then let it go back. It works amazingly fast. When dyno tuning we could see that times when the J&S lit up and it was working over a 50-100 RPM segment you could see where it pulled timing and then when it let it return.

This particular package includes a custom knock gauge that is easily mountable behind the cupholders, on the steering column, in the sunglasses pocket or wherever else you want to put it. It's slim packaging and functions just like the gauges described on the J&S homepage:

I purchased this in a group buy from NSN motorsports and it includes everything you need to install it, including the knock sensor.

In like new condition I am asking $475 for the whole package (shipped via USPS Priority Mail in the United States).

Yes, this is the one they call the MP3 Unit with an O2 clamp. I didn't have the O2 clamp portion hooked up but it came with the wires for it and the instructions if you want to do it.

Express Mail looks to be about $25.00 to Puerto Rico and Priority Mail is $10-$11.00

I prefer PayPal but if you need to do something different I am sure we can work something out.

Let me know.

Yeah anyway its good, I would try Express Mail which already has insurance. Give me 2-3 days to transfer the money to paypal, unless you prefer other options.
