I just recently bought this car on saturday, and I have noticed that the Sub Woofer in the truck is not working. The car is still stock from factory, yet for some reason its not getting any power. I know the Amp has power because the indicator light is on and I also checked the fuses to see if that could have been the problem. I did notice also that the settings on the Head unit give the option to turn the woofer off, and I turned it back on, and still nothing. Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem and might be able to give me a few tips. It almost seems like the Sub isn't even connected, as I have checked and all cables are connected correctly, and never tampered with. Thanks in advance.

Try checking the stickies in the Mazdaspeed Protege Car Audio section...
README: Stock MSP Stereo Warranty/Issues/Upgrades (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123634267)
Please remember to use the search feature before starting a post. This forum has been around for a while and chances are the questions you have about your new car have already been answered.
Good luck and welcome to the forum!

i know you said you checked the fuse... did you check on one right near the batterhy terminal?

If the light is on it is not a fuse issue. It is either the head unit, the connections behind the head unit, or the subwoofer is blown. All of this is outlined in the link I posted above.

Make sure your non-fading rca's are on. Push and hold the button on the top left of the face plate. It will either turn them on or off, it will display what it does. That could be your problem. Other than that i'm not really sure.
