I'm getting a set of P5 wheels to run winter tires on the Mazda5, and they're in need of some paint.
So what should I do?
Factory silver?
Paint just the spokes Carbon Gray and keep the lip silver?
Paint it all flat black?
Rhino Line 'em?
Pink w/ purple polkadots?
I suppose I could machine/sand them down to bare metal and clear coat them too....
Not planning on spending any money really, just want to make them look good.

or paint it a light color if it's for winter use.
or don't paint it at all since it's just gonna get salty

Try a dark bronze. Then when you don't like that, paint them flat black and leave the lip. Machine the lip if you have a way.

I like the pink polka dot idea.

I'm planning to do the same thing. I have aftermarket rims, and I want to paint my orginal rims black or something to use as winter rims. I'm also not planning on spending a lot of money. Can I just get some spray paint at the hardware store. How will you do it?
