So the Volume knob on my CD player fell off today. The stupid thing wasnt turning that smooth for the last few months, but I thought nothing of it.
Its never been banged arround or anything that Ive noticed, but Im 6.3 & I got Big legs, its quite posible its taken some small hits from my knee without me realizing.
Anyways I drive right over to Mazda (Fortunatly its only a Block away) To get it fixed.
I go in tell the lady I need it fixed for a 02 Protege. She tells me $15. I laugh for a min then ask "For a Knob?" She goes yeah, I ask "Well isnt that covered by my warrenty?" Se tells me my warenty is finished without even checking her Pc or anything. I start laughing again and tell her "No its not". She insist it is, I go isnt it covered for 3 years and 80klm from the purchase date? She like yes, So I tell her that I Bought it in November 2003 & have less than 40,000klm on her to date, confused, she takes a few mins gets the part and sends the guy to go POP it in, no charge.
It would make sence to verify the persons info BEFORE telling them weather there warenty expired or not.
