i have heard disconnect the neg terminal for 30 seconds... or 5 minutes... or pull the main fuse and hit the brake...... etc...

how exactly do i go about it (for timing mod)

perhaps i pull fuse 10 A ?

Yup that it, tapping the brake just makes sure the system is clear of any juice.

Disconect the NEgative terminal.

It doesnt even take 5min

Disconect it, tapp the brakes a bunch, then reconect it.

yeah actually the door open light may still be on even after the battery is disconnected.
