If you can't find any to trade, the ones off the Mazda Tribute are the same part, and amber. Go dig through a junkyard and see what you find.

The 02 p5 didn't have sidemarkers.

They're the oval lights on the fenders than blink with the turn signals. I think you're talking about the parking lights: trangular lights on the bumper.

Mine are tinted with Amber Stained Glass Paint. It comes in small cans and lasts a while. I just put another coat on them Friday after almost 2.5 years of them being sprayed the first time. Check the pick in my sig for them

edit: i was just wondering, have any speed owners swapped their tail lights? i swapped mine with a buddy in town bc if you look close enough you can see that the clear part on the speed has a pinkish tint to it. i didnt like the look of it so now i have regular tails. how come the speed is the only protege w/pink?

I had regular tails on my car for a while but then I decided that I like the pink better.

I actually found it at the $1 store by me about a year and a half ago. I have 2 cans of it that have both partially been used though. You might be able to find it locally at a craft store or here are a couple links to find it

It would be easier if you took them off and sprayed them off of the car...

if you do light coats it will look yellowish, you have to do a bunch of light coats for it to get dark orange. but also check the lable on the back to make sure its right.

certain mazda tributes have amber. i see them all the time around town. if you cant find any at the junk yard, ask people with tributes. they might trade, they might give you funny looks, but the worst they can say is no.

haha...no actually, very funny story. i tried to post in the "off topic" section but for some reason i cant make a new thread there.

anywho, around midnight on sept 11th, i was comming home from my buddie jay's house (kamon8404) and made it through all the drunken idiots in the city. figured id be safe when i get in the freaking parking lot right? WRONG. i was behind a toyota highlander. a black chick was driving and stopped at the stop sign to pick up her friend. no biggie plenty of people do that. there was about a 3 car gap between me and her because i trust nobody. i saw her reverse lights come on, at first i was like yea auto and she just has not switched it yet, thank God im this far back. well she hits the gas, me expecting her to realize at any moment and stop. well long story short she does not. at the last second i put it in neutral and honked the horn. (she had actually sped up a good bit) but she hit me. front passenger side. broke the headlight, hood, grille, and tore the bumper. also bent up the radiator support which ment the radiator was sitting on my awr header.

because the hood would not relatch and the radiator, i could not drive it.

the girl got out and was like OMG i didnt see you. i was in shock, im like WTF my car is fucking loud, bright ass headlights, and we are in a VERY well light parking lot. but anywho yea she backed into me. never said why she was backing up but she backed into me. had to fight with her insurance to pay me because she never claimed it.

That sucks! I almost had that happen to me in the pro, the worst feeling is when they start backing up and all you can do is watch. Fortnately I was able to throw it in reverse and back up, do a 180 and stop next to them with my drivers door facing theirs. A lot of expletives where released that day ;)

i had almost similar front end damage....cept no supports or radiator messed up. just fender/headlight/bumper. worst part was the pizza boy who ran into me wripped out the exact 100 dollar fender liner i had just replaced from a bambi incident
