NO person would have taken a picture of that had it not been covered with all that crazy tape. It just looks like an equinox with upgraded wheels, but who could look at one in person without feeling sick for long enough to notice the wheels haha.

So SS = new wheels, dual exhaust, and probably a bigger engine? I'd hope they tweak the styling to make it stand out from the front, side, and rear before this makes its way to production.

given what the silverado SS and Trailblazer SS have brought to the table, i'd assume the Equinox SS is going to be more than just wheels and such.

oh, and that equinox seriously looks like any old equinox to me...minus the zebra stripe treatment. it probably would have been better camoflage to just drive it without the tape...
