Loaded up the '5 for this year's first camping trip.
Just realized how much smaller the '5' is compared to the MPV. I think I need bigger overhead storage box for the next trip. The vehicle handled itself quite well with all of this load....When i fill her up tomorrow I'll see what the mileage was.

well was wondering looking at that pic if it is worthy to boost the rear suspension. How was the ride loaded like that did you bottom out?

Thanks for the pic

No bottoming out, however I think I pushed it by loading it up so much.
Next time I'll probably only take two of the four bikes.

What cargo box is that? I'm think about getting the Thule Excursion and wondered what it would look like on my 5 which is nearly identical to yours.

Your lawn looks nice. Good job.

This is an old cargo box I purchased from Canadian Tire many years ago.
I plan to get a bigger box because I need the space. I haven't looked at any, however I know that they're expensive. I may end up going with the bigger 'no-name' version offered by Canadian Tire.
As for the lawn....Thank God for Scotts...

Man, the 5 looks great when it's all loaded down!

And I agree, the lawn is nicely manicured :)

get some stiffer aftermarket springs and shocks and you'll be set with packing the whole 3rd row full of beer :D

Wonder what that would cost for the upgraded springs and shocks?? Green grass in Calgary must of been painted (poke)
