If I want to buy stuff from a 3rd gen protege where is a better place to advertise? The 3rd gen forum? Do I start a thread here that links to a wtb in the for sale section or what? so that vehicle specific people that may not intend to sell something think about it because ive brought it to thier attention. I need an air box.

The WTB section in the global for sale section is the best place. Most things are transferrable in the p5, msp, mp3, sedan as far as the engine goes. Just be specific and say "must fit 3rd gen sedan" but any stock airbox from a third gen will be the same.

For example MSP's and MP3's don't come with an airbox so they won't offer you one. That leaves the sedans and the P5's.

What all from the airbox do you need? The MAF is a pretty significant part of that and people hold onto that with upgrades so it is a tough item to find. Now if you need the airbox sans the MAF (the larger plug plugs into it) then I'll have one in a few days or i'm sure there are plenty laying around.

Do you need all the other crap that goes into it from the middle of your engine? the snorkel and all that?
