The CX25 will utilize a 2.5L powerplant based off the QR25DE (2.5L 4-banger used in the current Altima 2.5, Sentra SE-R, Serena, and X-Trail), although there are some rumors of utilizing a VQ variant 2.5L v6. Horsepower should be in the 175 range.
The CX35 will utilize the VQ35DE powerplant that is the mainstay of Nissan/Infiniti in that it is being used in most applications including Maxima, 350Z, G35, and varients of the Infiniti FX and M series. Horsepower should be in the 240+ range.
