Your friends 55 is sweet did he do it himself? Well heres one pic most all the cars we do unless the customer doesnt want it are frame off rotisary jobs. This 57 has a ram jet 350 crate motor.

I think it looks cool but if I could afford that as a side car I would rather go for a 70 chevelle or 69 judge.
Btw his brother has this 57:

No, he bought it like that. He says it's bad enough cleaning all the chrome in the engine bay and underneath before every show.
That 57 is pristine!

Sold it to go back to school. It's all good - everyony should have a '69 Camaro or early Stang at least once in there life. I have never in my life got more pu$$y from a car before or after. Next up is the before mentioned '57 - All black, air-bagged, 20's and a TT Ram 502. I've got one more year untill I finish school (2nd career, I fart dust :D) A hybrid Protege will be my daily ....

I haven't owned anything older than a 1990 yet, so I will probably get the classic later. Or if I stumble upon a divorce sale. One guy at the show was talking about a guy that sold a 67 fastback 427 for 4,500 because he didn't want the x to get anything.

Ahhhh ... good to know I am not the only one who's sickness knows no boundries. My "350" was actually a 400 crank 383 (with a 100 shot activated by the dimmer switch) all lines were hidden under the Edelbrock "RPM" mani.

:) Good example. The best way to buy a classic is to buy from a knucklehead like me. Don't bother spending $50+K building up a beater. Find a nice $30K ride that someone dropped $60K in - and then make it your own.

We got it up and going in 7 days. He ended up wrecking it 1mile from where he wrecked the 69 LOL. It wasn't that bad though. He still has it.
