anyone want my simota intake? i'm not really feeling it. its the 2.0L carbon fiber one. its brand new, didn't install it yet. not really wild about it, waited months for it. I do like the carbon fiber... although its kinda weird that it just attaches to the stock plumbing. i thot the entire intake would be CF. i shudda got the SRI. but if no one wants it, i guess i'll try it out.
whats a good price?....hmmmmm send me your offers

Where does that go?

mmmm from the blurry pic in the instructions. it looks like it goes where the airbox would normally go on a stock intake. after the install the CF shroud pretty much is right up against the front of the car so it grabs all the cool air swirling from the fans.
i'll scan a pic of the instructions and put it up tomoro.

i dunno, i've never done much mechanically to the car. it might be a pain to take the snorkel and the airbox out. the intake has a little hole for something. i think its the MAF sensor. if you look at the 3rd pic, that little hole i think is for the MAF. the instructions aren't really good, as they are blurry and don't show any detail.
Looks like a replica Autoexe Intake.
Good luck on the sale. Nice intake!

nah, that's the easiest thing I've done to the car. Start w/the storkel and work your way to the air box. just make sure you save all the bolts. 10 minute job, 15 if you don't know where all the bolts are.
This looks simple enough to add to an Ebay intake, just put it on the end of the MAF, maybe with a straight connector.
