Let me first say hello and say this is a great forum. My GF just got her M6 about a month and half ago. It a great car, Still trying to find the shift points due to not driving every day. She however is making me look bad (pissed).

Any ways, this week in Spfld, MA it has not stopped raining. Today we noticed that we have a condensation problem in the headlights. Is this common or should i be bring this back to the dealer ASAP.

Also one more simple question, why does the 06 M6 not have the middle head light, its just a globe. (shocked)

Thats where the fog lights used to be, but now they are in the bupper and they just kept the lights the way they where.

I know of someone who switched to HIDs for their headlights. Shortly after reassembling the headlight housing assembly, and he got condensation. Thankfully, It went away after a couple of days, and never manifested itself again.

IMHO Give it time to equilibrate to the ambient humidity. If the problem persists, proceed to to dealership

As mentioned, that's where the foglights were integrated into the headlight cluster. Here's my 04 6s headlight cluster:

Thank you Raynman also, Thinking about the HID light or Xenon bulbs but dont know if i want to take thing apart in a new car. So ill wait till after this week if the condensation cont. ill bring it back to the dealer.

Thanks for the Fog Light pics, how do those fog light work, do they proj. a beam as reg. fog lights. Just wonderng
