I know this is a bit premature but I'm going to be out of town for a couple days and I wanted let everyone know before I headed out...That...

Mazda Forums has...

25,000 Members!!!

(first)

I'm looking at that number and I'm JUST starting to realize how far we've come as a community. Yeah yeah....Not everyone is active but that number represents a lot of history...a lot of time and effort...a lot of good times...most of all...a lot of friends.

Thank you guys so much for being a part of this AWESOME community. From the Members to the Moderators and of course our Authorized Vendors...You guys make this place feel like home.

Heres to you guys and another 25,000 friends! (drinks)

It’s pointless to post about how many are active or not…I’ve already stated that not are all active. If all 25,000 were active we would need a nuclear powered server! It’s totally obvious that in ANY online community…The number of active members compared to the number of total members is not the same. That’s NOT THE POINT OF THIS THREAD.

Yeah yeah....Not everyone is active but that number represents a lot of history...a lot of time and effort...a lot of good times...most of all...a lot of friends.

Unfortunately some members wish to trash my thread. Let me make this very clear...DO NOT DO IT!

I'm going to state a few important points to remember:

For those who wish to troll my threads...Take note of a few of the rules that pertain to this situation (yes...you know R-U-L-E-S)...

1. Be respectful of others at all times. The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.

4. The creation of useless threads and replies for any reason, especially for increasing your post count ("post whoring"), is prohibited.

11. The act of intentionally posting inflammatory threads or replies for no other purpose than inciting or provoking others, also known as "trolling", is strictly prohibited. Mazda Forums has a zero tolerance policy towards trolling, meaning users who engage in such activity can be immediately and permanently banned without warning.

Now by following these simple rules (aka...being a mature adult ONLINE) you will not have your posts deleted.

Thanks.

Well said. Several derogatory and insulting remarks were made that have been promptly deleted. (Just in case anyone is wondering what Antoine is referring to).

In regards to what Antoine said about how many are actually actire. If you think about it, all 25,000 have been active, which means 25,000 people have been interested in what we do and what we are all about. I think that's pretty damn impressive.

It's interesting to note that in April we achieved a new high for "Unique Visitors"...Apr 2006 148,905.

Keep in mind that although 25,000 members have actually registered...Mazda Forums has over 100,000 individual visitors each month!
