Cluster question

Can I put a 2002 protege cluster in my 99 1.6??

Depending on when your car was built (ie: production date), that will affect if you can use a higher year of cluster. I was talking to Tampa about this awhile ago and he said that if your car is made prior to 06/99, then you can only use a cluster from before that date. However if it is made after that date, you should be good to go with a 00+ cluster.

I am not 100% sure though about this. I swapped my cluster out for another 99 one and everything works. Do a search on 'cluster swap' and I am sure you will find many threads about this. Hope that helps.
