To answer the question in CA they are illegal to use while the vehicle is in motion. Weather you get pulled over for it, roll of the dice on the cop who see's it, kinda like tint on the front windows...Some care some dont. Id save the $$ personally.

In Arizona you can do anything to your car for car shows as long as its not functional on the street. In AZ the orange may be legal as the laws here state that you can have white and yellow to amber to the front and red and yellow to amber on the rear.

i have blue led's under mine drive at night with them on no cops have said anything
