exhaust on my evo

spent yesterday putting my exhaust on my car. few minor issues with the bolts going to the o2 housing, nothing major. when it gets warm sometimes it rattles/bangs so i'll probably get some better hangers for it but for the most part it's good. fitment was great and from behind it looks almost stock. little louder than i had hoped but it's not bad at all. on with the pics

i love listening to exhaust sound/video clips with a subwoofer. sounds very nice, and i bet it sounds better in person. sounds very similar to my setup. maybe coz i have a magnaflow as well :) wanna trade cars by any chance?

Hey, what intake and BOV do you have paired with that? My homeboy back home has an 05 black 8 and he just got the K&N Typhoon. He wants a Turbo XS 3" RLF TI catback and an Apexi GT 3" downpipe.

I haven't heard it yet in person because he got it a couple months ago. Yours sounds nice, btw. Glad it FINALLY came in ;)

Just FYI- I used a full set of Kartboy hangers on my evo and I still get the rattles and bangs. And like you said- it's worse in the summer. I think before it gets too hot that I'm going to re-install the exhaust and try to get it to fit better and then heat wrap the areas that rub against other metal. The rattles seriously annoy me like nothing else.

i ordered my kartboy hangers yesterday and looked around underneath. the only spot i found it hitting was on the rear sway bar but it's damn close to the oil pan. i did a little temp fix of the sway bar problem (sounded OK this morning on my way to work) until my hangers get here and when i reinstall the hangers i'm going to try to pull it a bit away from the oil pan. if i can't get it far away it'll be header wrap for me by the oil pan as well

Regarding you on the garage floor: girls seem to dig guys wrenching on cars. I'm normally studying Shakespeare or grading papers (boring, I know), so I guess my GF likes it when I crawl around and get grease on my face.
