... but i fear that cost may lean me towards a trad-in and new purchase of the 'speed.
which i don't wanna do... i like my sedan.....
any numbers or thoughts before the mazda man serves me a hot platter of "get over yourself and just buy the 'speed" ?????

good luck finding a disi 2.3l on the cheap... and then you need the ecu as well... yeah either buy a speed or mod the motor you have.

he'll need to fuck with the fuel system too... direct injection engines usually run at much higher fuel pressures

i'm all for modifying vehicles obviously, but i would say the smartest and cheapest move is a trade up for an ms3

Also the fact that it won't fit under the hood of the sedan, as is.
