I'm just wondering if it's ok for the Msp to be running on 93 octane containing ethanol? I was reading online, saying fuel mixed with ethanol burns faster than just premium itself, I wanna know what other people are using for their Msp's....
I only went and got it cause I saw the sign that said $3.02 a gallon for premium where other places where asking for $3.15 and $3.09. I still ended up paying over $40 for my tank today. But anyone with info could help that would be cool. Thanks

its law now that the gas in houston contain ethanol. every single gas station i have been to states that there is 10% ethanol in the mixture. so no matter what your going to be using it.

I've noticed here in Fort Worth gas is as high as $3.00 for unleaded, out in Burleson off of Wilshire, unleaded is $2.70 if anyone is interested in saving some change, i'ma make that trip soon....

milwaukee area, wi is around $3.15/gal for 93 octane and we HAVE to have 10% ethenol in the area due to some stupid law. luckily its time for summer travels and alot of places i go dont have ethenol mix and my car runs better and gets better mileage on the cheaper non-eth gas

I recently found a gas station around here that offers 93 octane, it contains 10% ethanol.
I read up on it, did some searches on here and came to the conclusion that ethanol is perfectly fine. It actually has a cooling property (or burns cooler/displaces heat better); either way it's cooler.
So if 93 w/ ethanol is the highest octane you can get in your area, go for it.
