well ive got just about everything undone ready to pull out the motor except for the a/c and coolant lines. i was just wondering the best way and how to unhook it all the best was possible

I'd pull the radiator out, you can pull it out with the fans and everything atached to it so it doesn't get damaged as the motor goes out and then in. A/C compresor can be left in with the lines and everything so it doesn't lose the freon.

yeah like he said. just pull the radiator out of the way. dont undo any a/c lines. just unbolt it and move it out of the way using wire. just off to the side where the radiator sat is fine. gives you alot more room to work with. i work at a mazda dealer so ive pulled these motors and also rebuilt them.

excellent, ive been meaning to start this thread. all the ac lines and other metal lines and pieces...i want to clean the hell out of them and polish them so my bay is pretty. when i remove these lines....all i have to do is buy that 15 dollar bottle of freon at pep boys and refill? if not, i dont want to mess anything up
