Well I ahve all the Intercooler pipes made and powdercoated black and 2 slim line fans and a short ram intake.
I ran into a alignment problem and that ate up a lot of my money, so now I'm a broke foo, I still need to buy the intercooler, silicone couplers and clamps and a BPV which is the cheapest.

And all that total comes to around $430. And i am becoming impatient. What should I do? I can only work 2 days a week and don't make much per check. Should I just buckle down and wait or sell and get something else?

Damn .. (homework)

Stay with it man, your almost done. Most of the hard part is done and now you just need a few more pieces. I know the feeling as I am in the same spot as you (just a few steps behind). I also need to fabricate some pipes and get my intercooler but when everything is done it will be a real nice set up.

(hi) Yea that's for sure about the hard part. The only hard part ever is getting piping made that will fit and look "clean" I ahve that and wait over 6 weeks to get completed which I'm glade i did. They look great.

Sadly I just want to get all this done with, I shortened my mod list down and now i'm behind schedule becuase of my alingment issue i ran into literally.(burp)

Where are you buying the intercooler core from?

I have a friend that knows a supplier, I'm trying to get ahold of him. He told me to find the guy as he sells a lot through E-bay but I'll just wait a bit to have him introduce me to him. What alignment issues are youi having? I want to get the intercooler first so that I wont run into this, that way the pipig can be designed for the intercooler on the car.

well in wet coniditions I lost control of the car and my hit my front tire/rim on a crub bad crub rash at speeds, I got my balnced done and rotation but they said they need to take the front sway bar out and repostion or turn it around or something! I am freakin pissed cause I didn't have enough time yesterday and I have my axle back of my exhaust resting on a suspension bar now and its sanding it........this car is drivnig my nuts!!

I'm going to the exhaust shop tomorrow to get it fixed adn then thursday for my alignment thing...

I don't know man, it doesn't sound like it was the cars fault. Try to get the alignment done first then the esxhaut. If it was a serious hit that may be the reason it's rubbing. Sux to hear that you had an accident, we don't need to loose any more speeds. Becareful when it's wet, these cars tend to be twitchy in the rain with the tight suspension. I thought you were having issues with the pipes lining up, good to hear that's not an issue afterall the $$ spent on it. I'll get ahold of my friend this week and see if he has time to hook me up on the intercoolers. I'm going to need three and if you still haven't gotten one I can see about a price for 4, I think we can negotiaite better if we have more people in on it. I need to talk to hte guy and work out the details but it should be sometime this week. I'll let you know.

Sweet! Yea most def about the Intercooler. I can give you a size and everything. Hopefully it won't be too much.

The size includes endtank to endtank (centered endtanks)

31"x6"x3.5"
If you can't get 3.5" for thickness then 3" is good enough. Let me know what happens.

Yeah that 2.75" would work, I had the axle back connector at 2.5-3" right after. Just for the transition from the 2.25" stock cat back to the axle section. I'll tell you what happens later this week.

No I didn't like that, but if money is an issue you can always polish those after.

Yea I'm looking at the one with the hidden welds, if you can get a good deal in an intercooler with the size i posted that would be cool. Either way i have to wait because lack of funds right now.

O know the feeling, I'm trying to be cheap with myself so I can afford all the nice shinies.
