i curently drive a 04 mazda 3 hatch but its tiptronic n it blows i am definitely gona buy another mazda and was wondering if anyone already owns a mazdaspeed6 06 because i wil either get that or wait for the 07 mazdaspeed3 just tel me wut kind of times the mazdaspeed6 runs n the overall handling of the car and just about nething u like or dislike about the car

In response, the Mazdaspeed6 seems to get high 13's in the 1/4 mile; several owners have been able to hit mid to high 13's 100% stock. People seem to be overall impressed with the car, and say that it handles much better than a car that weighs that much should.

The Mazdaspeed3...my estimate is that it will run very low 14's in the 1/4 mile, and have better handling than the Mazdaspeed6 because of it's smaller size and weight, and the fact that a stock 3 handles better than a stock 6. However, the Mazdaspeed6 is AWD while the Mazdaspeed3 will be FWD, making good 1/4 mile times harder to achieve, as launching a powerful FWD car is difficult in comparison to a powerful AWD car.
