I don't think my car came with the sunroof and i guess that means it doesn't have abs and something else i can't remember, but is there anyway to get:

The Protege5 has the amber illuminated interior, but the lense for the ignition switch is still green.

Oh and superboyblue, ABS is doable but you need a lot of parts and installing the brake force distribution unit (it is ABS/EBD not just ABS) is only really doable if the engine is removed from the bay. You also need the toothed gear thing on the front axles and the sensors that mount to them, and something similar for the rear.

As for the side airbags, it really isn't doable, at least not easily enough that it is worth doing. You need new seats, the entire wiring harness out of a Protege5 with side airbags (if I recall correctly), and the side impact sensors.

I've looked into installing the side airbags / ABS package myself. Now I'm just looking for a very low mileage 2003 Protege5 that has the package.

Interested in the plastic "surround" that's..um..aroundt he steering wheel...two screws onthe bottom. You'll need to take it off if you're going after the gauge cluster anyway.

No, not the gauge surround. The plastic "sheild" around the steering column, just behind the wheel (it's what the windsheild washer controls and turn signal have cut outs for.

Looking at the pics in post#1, the driver's side tail light has some "light" damage, lol. I think pulverized is the term to use. The other one looks a little better.

Haha. well from the pic i couldnt really tell what the problem was. If th tailgate was shifted or the light was infact physically damaged. Oh and dibs on the drivers side taillight...(breakn)
