k... installed the vibrant exhaust... fucked up is that the exhaust hits the body and it rattles like crazy...and when i start the car or launch at low idle, the s pipe clunks like a mofo...

i'm pissed...

the downforcers don't fit... i have to drill my own holes to make them fit... the holes don't line up to the stock holes...

so anybody know how to get rid of this clunky shit...

o also, the s pipe coming toward the end of the exhaust pipe didn't come wit a gasket, u think that might be it? cuz everything else came wit a gasket...

mine didnt come with the gasket there either so i emailed vibrant and they sent free gaskets. if you dont have kartboy exhaust hangers, then yoou need to purchase them... that will fix the clunking.

some people had issues witht he tip rubbing against the rear lip. i fortunately didn't. to fix the problem, some ppl used a stock hanger in the rear or bought a different sized one at the parts store.

yea i was told its jus the hangers being bitches cuz they can't support the weight of an aftermarket system... so no biggie, ordered the hangers and ima install them at school...

To fix the clunk on the rear bumper, I put the Kartboy hangers on the front and rear, then put the stock hangers on the outside of those to hold it firm. No issues.

As for the Downpipe clunk, you definately need the kartboy hangers.

What kind of tire did you blow out?

Upgraded motor mounts help a lot too...

You can reuse your stock s-pipe to j-pipe gasket. It works fine. Mine has been installed and removed several times and no leaks.

Yeah the rattle is probably the heat shield on top of the canister...I had to bend mine a little because it was touchin it just right to make it rattle.
