You have to experience it in person. I personally like it. But most people with msp's want to get rid of the sound.

i've got tons of turkey... if you let off slowly before you shift, i'll have less turkey, more woosh sound.

One of my MSP buddies in my area had turkey˛.... turned out that his bpv was plugged the wrong way! I noticed it while installing his Injen CAI. Turns out that he got the car like this from the last owner.

Sorry but the arrow on the stock BPV must point towards the intake...

injen cold air intakes are the shit, good luck keeping it really clean though. jomo has some good polish stuff, i spent about 20 min polishing the maf toair filter piping section for the hell of it. I was amazed at how much residue was built up on it.

I love the turkey too, and apparently all the other car enthusiasts in this town do too. Anyway when we go to race here they all have cbs in there car and my call name is gobble gobble. Made me laugh :) then i got my ass kicked by both cars.

...everyone turns their heads to see the "Turkey Turbo Banana"...

Haha, if those people understood that the noise is slowing down your turbo, and isn't really all that great for it, they wouldn't just be turning and looking... they would be pointing and laughing.;)

Don't worry though man, we all liked it at first too.

How can u not like the turkey gobble, you see a group of 25 ppl standing outside, especially if you know some of them, you drive by, slam on the gas pedal, boost, turkey is unleashed, 24/25 people will look at you and go like wtf was that????

I love the turkey too. Heads turn everywhere I go. Injen CAI is the shit.

The only downside..... everyone in my family says the turkey sounds more like a pidgeon. :(

does anyone have any good or bad feedbacks on an AEM cold air or short ram air intake for the MSP?

what advantages do each one have vs. the other.

Thanks

I have the AEM cold air on mine. It is probably exactly the same as the injen. The install was ok, i had to get some hoses from the auto store, but its fine now. I like the turkey sound. I hav eread that the AEM doesnt need to be modified when switching to a FMIC setup. I am not positive since i still have the stocker SMIC
