well, I've hit 50,000 miles, and I think my shocks could use some updating. Any recommendations for shocks that would be stock-legal in autocross, and might perform a bit better?
Thanks!

Replace them with OEM's. They are Linear shocks and perfect for autocross and will keep you in stock.

Yep, since you can't change spring rates in stock class its best to stay with the tokico hp/oem struts.

ok, next question, should it be about that time at 50k? I have some twisties on my commute, so maybe they're wearing faster than usual, but I'm not really sure how long struts are supposed to last.
Thanks for your help. =]

so, apparently shocks are free in stock class, as long as they attach in the same place and are within 1" in length.
Are there other shocks that would be the same size but stiffer?

The struts should last longer than 50K miles. Just make sure they aren't leaking fluid.
Because you can't change springs in stock class, there's no reason to change the struts. The Tokicos are well matched to the springs, which means you won't find time by changing to something stiffer.

no leaks, I just feel like the suspension is a bit looser than it was 50,000 miles ago. maybe I've just built up "suspension tolerance". =]
Thanks for the info.
