Top of the line Yaris gets upgrade

Toyota has upgraded its top-of-the-line Yaris hatchback model with a sports body kit.
The kit consists of a front spoiler, side skirts, roof-level rear spoiler and rear air spats (as additions to the rear bumper).

The newly upgraded Yaris YRX 5-door hatch has a recommended retail price of $20,590* for the manual transmission model and Yaris YRX three-door hatch manual is priced at $19,390*.

The introduction of the Yaris YRX with sports body kit coincides with the launch of the Yaris sedan model, bringing the Yaris range to 14 models.

All Yaris models hatchback are highly specified, with dual SRS airbags, factory-fitted air conditioning, electronic throttle, electric power-assisted steering, and 14-inch brake package with ABS anti-skid brakes, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).

Standard equipment also includes wireless power door locks, power windows, power mirrors, MP3-compatible audio system, digital instruments and clock, and a full-sized spare tyre.

High-grade Yaris YRX hatch has a 1.5-litre VVT-i equipped engine, which can be matched to a five-speed manual or electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission with gated shift.

Yaris YRX also has 15-inch alloy wheels, tilt and telescopic steering column adjustment, leather-bound steering wheel with audio controls, leather-bound shift lever, six-disc in-dash CD changer, driver and front passenger seatback map pockets, front passenger’s seat storage under tray and front foglamps.

There is one option for Yaris YRX hatch: an Enhanced Safety pack consisting of front-seat side airbags, full-length curtain-shield airbags and a driver’s knee airbag.
*Recommended retail prices exclude dealer delivery, government and statutory charges and optional extras.

Putting a body kit on what has to been one of the weakest design and implementation efforts from toyota is like polishing a turd. It's still shit.

Yet, in the time it took you to type in this reply, you could have found out yourself and saved me a couple extra worthless posts to read. :)

also, dont forget that cars in other countries cost more than in the US. A car that goes for like $15k here might cost almost $25k in some parts of Europe or Asia or something like that. Shit, I paid $15k for My Hyundai Getz in Portugal and if it was sold here it'd probably cost somewhere like $8-9k brand new.

Anyways, I for one like it. The front looks really bulky though, but I dont mind.

Is it just me or is Toyota really slacking on the looks department... It's like they have all the design engineers that didn't make the cut or flunked out of the Lexus design team... Personally I think Toyota has been making some of the most "blah" cars out right now and yet that may be why their selling like hotcakes.

Everytime I see one of these yaris things around town it scares me. Front on it's hideous. Driving the other day I saw one and I jumped and said whoa!....woman looks at me like I was crazy, and I said that is the ugliest pos...... it just scares me....ugly. I don't know how any man could drive that car and not feel like a total loser.

Real men don't need a vehicle to compensate for their insecurity.
