Sweet, Spacefox was a great game!
....oh wait, that was Star Fox.
That thing does look top heavy, and the wheels look too small. Overal, I'm not a fan of the design. The 5 is just so much better looking!

wow... vw design is really starting to go down the tubes imo... i don't really care for the new jetta or golf, and the passat is a papi car... and this... i don't even know what to call it? but ugly is deffinatly the front runner for adjectives... i am sure it will sell throughout the world but i highly doubt it will here...
EDIT** cause it reminds me of the old dodge/mitsu colt... just a bit taller...

Needs lowering springs and a aero lip kit.
In most applications that would do the trick ... but not in this case. (blarf)

the designer these days are getting really lame
where are the good designers?
stop trying to make each car a sports sedan, 7 passanger, fuel efficient, fast acceleration, comfortable and saloon car.
Just pick one!!!!!
this case, it looks like a minivan
enough ranting
at least it looks like the new cx5 mazda has out.
I am actually suprised VW produced a car like that, considering how much i like the new Jetta and the respect i have for that car

SAO PAOLO, Brazil — Volkswagen has issued the first details about its new sporty minivan, which it is calling the Spacefox.
It is based on the Fox subcompact, will be manufactured in Argentina, and will go on the Brazilian market in late April.
Three other compact minivans — the Honda Jazz, Chevrolet Meriva and Fiat Idea — have been launched recently in South America and with them a new market segment was born on the continent, slotted neatly between traditional hatchbacks and subcompacts. It is to be expected that Volkswagen would join the fray, especially since it is in a pitched battle with Fiat for market leadership in Brazil.
The Spacefox is actually a very close competitor to the Honda Jazz, which is known as the Fit (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/ViewModelDetail/make=Honda/model=Fit) in North America, even though VW claims it is part of a completely new category. Key dimensions confirm this: It is 164.5 inches long, 65.2 inches wide and 62.0 inches tall (strikingly similar to the Fit's 151.3 x 65.9 x 60.5 inches). The Spacefox's front end bears a strong similarity to the Fox, but the rear has Golf Plus overtones.
It is powered by a four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine that can run on either gasoline or alcohol. It is more agile when filled with alcohol: Top speed is 108 mph and the 0-60-mph sprint is executed in 10.8 seconds.
Exports to Europe will start in 2007.
