Looks like a ripoff of the acura MDX
Anyways, I blow a big rasberry at crossovers.
Wagons FTW!

Unfortunately your P5 doesn't seat a family of 6, so everyone can't drive sporty little cars.

Mazda does not have to rip anyone off...and if they did...I would think they would prefer to rip-off something A LOT more attractive and interesting than an Acura MDX.

Mazda5 anyone?
My point is there is no reason to put a lift kit on every wagon/van out. Its the hight of automotive fashion rediculousness.
Oh, and its not the Acura MDX I was thinking of, it was the lexus rx300

You guys are totally underestimating Mazda's ability to produce a unique "crossover"...The CX-9 clearly has a lot more sophisticated and sporty styling than the traditional offerings from other makes...I sense that the CX-9 is targeting the "higher-end" of the market...For example X5, Benz and Porche offerings...It's taking inspiration from those models and bringing it to a more "down to earth" price point and image.
Just look how clunky and chunky the Lexus looks...And for a street based SUV...The wheel gap is horrid (notcool)...The rear end is worst part...
