View Full Version : Wheel Bearing Issue NEED HELP!!

Hi everyone,

I have had my right front wheel bearing replaced along with the lower tie rod and I find out yesterday that the bearing is shot again. I will most likely have the bearing replaced under the shops warranty but what could be causing this? I had my brakes done, new tires and alignment. I take care of my car and dont know what the hell is going on here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

probably a defective bearing when they installed it,or maybe the bearing housing is not perfect,but they should have seen it..another thing that could do this,if the axle-shaft is not perfect,vibrating just a little bit,well it can cause the bearing to fail....a friend of mine had the same problem,i told him to say to check the axle-shaft to is mechanic at mazda....well they did,and that was it,the bearing inside the axle-shalf was out of balance,and it made the right front end vibrate...they change it,and never had any others troubles...

it could be improper torque on the axel nut...vibrations kills bearing....and bad ground for the motor can ruin a bearing too

Well,

It was the wheel bearing and hub. The hub was casuing the wheel bearing to go to shit. Hopefully this will do it.

dam didnt no that. i thought mayb mines might b just used the wrong grease... wat would happen if that happens?
