My passanger side motor mount is totally torn so I ordered a new solid one from advance, it just came in.

Now Im wondering how should I go about changing the stocker?
Any recomendations, I remember reading that the other mounts will hold the engine up so this one should be an easy swap. But as far as that should I jack up the engine or something.

Also It seems a bit tight in there any tricks?

I found that when I took off the mount it was still attatched to the handle thing that goes to the engine. I cant get the handle off. Its rusted on or something.

I believe there are three nuts and two bolts (could be wrong about the bolts) that hold the mount in place.

As far as the jack goes, well it cant hurt to use it, but I dont remember using it when I was taking my mount off.

I took it to a mechanic. THe solution was to cut the old mount off the handle thing.

that sux. Could of asked CustomMSP for help install the mount.

We installed my rear motor mount under 2 hours, considering that we were bs'ing and taking brakes every 5 minutes, heh.

Alright I just spent almost an entire afternoon trying to take out the rear motor mount and replace it with the AWR mount. My question is this, how the hell are you supose to get at the two nuts that are closest to the firewall? Any help at all at this point would be super great because this is my second try at this, and monday will be my third.

zerocover, was it Advance Auto Parts that you got the mount from? Do you have a part number? My gf's is gone (and mine as well, but I have the AWR inserts) and I can't go for the high price of the stock one from a dealer. Thanks.
