OK so I am lookinh to get an HID kit for my MSP.What are my choices. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to theese. The different #s like 3000K and all that determine the color of the light right? What should I be looking for? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it all depends on what you want, the look?or the performance?

for the performance, stay under 7000k,the best output is 4300k,like the oem on the bmw,mercedez,lexus,....

if you go with 6500k and up,its going to be more bluish, yet purple for around 9000k and up,many people have the 6000k,wich is i think the best compromise between look and performance,it reflecs white on the road, but if you look at the car from the front, its a white light with bluish tint in it,close to the oem from audi...look the post about the group buy from xenon store, you ll find many many many picture of members with hids on msps....

I bought the helios 6000k locally and are using them on my car. I've had them for more than a year now and have no problems at all. I think this kit is the best bang for your buck. It wasn't very difficult to install either.

the H4 headlights have a reflector cutoff ... so that's why there is a strong cut off line when you shine your headlights on a wall. the HID bulbs (if they're made and positioned correctly) should sit in the same spot as your stock bulbs and thus have the same cutoff. but because they may sit slightly different and because they output more light than stock bulbs, you may get some glare happening. but i've seen some H4 HID kits that have a nice cut off.
