hi you guys!

this just to tell all the canadian 2003 mazda protege 2.0l owners, that there is a new call back from mazda canada, contact all your dealership,it about the intake gasket, they have to replace it as soon as possible, even for those who had the intake job about the vics screws, you have to go back, for them to replace the hole intake gasket once again...

its a 2-4 hours job, under warranty,no cost, simply take an appointment, bring the car,and you ll have it back the same day...

the reason i know about that,is that i received a call today from the canadian warranty manager, and he gave me thoses infos....thanks for reading, and hurry to get it done.....damage to the cylinders can occur if you dont,so think about long term reliability..... (thumb)

The gasket is like $40.00..

It's a 30 Min Job..

i simply tell you guys what the manager told me,i dont know about the price, and for the infos,as i told on the first post, call your dealer, they are going to let you know every details, and no the cold air intake dosent affect you,its a gasket between the head and the intake that they have to change, the intake gasket...so they have to remove the intake, clean it,put a new gasket in place and youre done, thats all...even if it takes 30 min,or 3 hours, its not a problem, mazda pays the bill.....

i dont understand whats the deal with you brian, did i argue with you?i dont think so,i made a post,to inform the guys over here, who are no mechanics,to get in touch with theyre dealers, get theyre car fixed, and thats it,the company takes care of the problem, they fixe it,and i tell the guys about it,so they can avoid paying for something that they dont have to,and you keep posting your opinion, this is not a debate, its a post to help people know about a call back, clear, simple, and free fix....not everybody has the time and the place to work on theyre engines to make it shine and modify it,so for those who takes care of theyre car,i think its an info that needs to be seen....

I think it's more than a gasket job. It's about some screws getting loose in there ...
