Canadian Production Numbers

Where can Canadians go to find their production numbers???

as far as i know you need to call Mazda Canada with your v.i.n # in hand and ask them for it. Some have gotten theirs from Mazda USA but.. others with the 03.5s are shit out of luck.

here is an update. I gave it a shot myself to call both Mazda Canada and Mazda USA because I myself want to know my prod. #.

Mazda Canada said:

me: "do you have any information on the production numbers for the mazdaspeed protege"
MC: "i'm sorry i don't know what you mean by production numbers"

so after telling him about them he told me that "we do not have that information" and i would have to call my dealer because they would have that sort of information.

Mazda USA call:

after telling him again about it and the production numbers he told me he would be right back.. i was getting excited because maybe he did have the info.. buuuut when he came back .. "im sorry sir we dont have that information"

sooo either i find someone who speaks japanese or try and contact my dealer which i think is BS the dealer wouldnt know anything bout it as far as i know.

this sucks.. lol

other guys from Canada with 03s and 03.5s have had the same problems..

Yet another update.. I contacted my dealer and they are going to look up my v.i.n to see if they can dig up the production number.. also they said "it is usually stamped somewhere inside the car" that info has yet to be confirmed..

Yeah, I was talking to my dealer and they told me that it should be stamped inside the car somewhere as well. Mazda Canada said they cannot give out that information, so I am guessing that it's because they don't know what we're talking about, lol, but yeah I was told the same thing, so my next plan is to just search the car.

the dealership got back to me with no good info.. they cannot tell me where it is nor could they tell from my VIN # :(
