High Rev

Has anyone noticed that the MSP's rev higher than other cars with a 2.0 or smaller. At 120km/h my MSP rev's at about 3300-3500 rpm, in 5th gear obviously. Is this normal for this car?

yep its normal,the diferential gears are smalls,so,you have more torque,but more rev,and less economy,all the proteges are like that.....i dont agree with mazda about doing that,its another misconception if you ask me...who needs to rev at 3200rpm at 100 km hres.... (boom03)

it makes passing easier but is kind of annoying on long trips
