i just wanted to apologize about the previous post about the rims...i haven't posted on here in quite some time and i was unaware of the rule changes...i am confused on these rules....like i have the rims however i am away at college and they are at home sitting in my garage....that would mean that i would have to drive all the way back home take pictures of them with a sign that says mazda forums on them? I mean i already have the pictures of the rims on my car....i am not trying to start anything just questioning because it seems like a lot of work (not to mention gas money to take pictures of them) i mean i can see where you are coming from as far as trying to protect people from getting ripped off and what not and i commend you guys for doing it this way...i was just wondering if there is a way around it so i don't have to drive 200 miles to take pictures of the rims and then come back another 200 miles to post the pictures on my computer which is at school....i suppose i could take the computer with me....but still 400 miles of a trip....that like 50 dollars in gas alone i dunno, if anyone has any solutions or help it would be greatly helpful as to this issue

what do you mean....i posted pictures earlier but they didn't have the proper sign or something....i dunno, like i said it has been like 8 months since i posted last and i was unaware that you need to put certain things in the picture....and what i am trying to say is that i would have to spend nearly 50 dollars in gas to take pictures that i won't get back....and then on top of that ship them out....that is what i am trying to get at...i have a camera so getting pictures is not the problem....my beef is that for me to get authorization to post a for sale thread with proper pictures i would have to spend a lot of money....keep in mind i am in college and 50 dollars is a ton to me that is like a months living worth to me
the question is, if they are at home, and you're in college, how and who will ship them for you if someone buys them ?

Yeah, how do you plan to deliver the rims?

well if someone was to buy them i would obviously go home and ship them.....what i am trying to get at is going home and spending money just to take pictures to post them when it isn't guaranteed that i will even sell them.....if i was to get a guaranteed buyer i would have no problem spending the money to go home and ship them.....i never stated that i couldn't go home and ship them

Why can't you have someone else (like parents, siblings, or friends) take the pictures with all the required information included, email the pics to you, then you can post it? If/when they sell, go home and ship them. I'm not trying to be an ass, but this doesn't seem to be all that difficult.

i suppose i could do that....if i already have the pictures on my computer....however they aren't close up like the sticky message says that if you are selling rims they should be close ups....like i have pictures from like 10 feet away could i just edit the picture via paint shop or something and put my information...would that be sufficient enough i know it isn't a piece of paper or cardboard....i am not trying to cause a problem or make excuses but having my parents do is not going to work as they are the most technologically troubled people that i know...if i try to explain to them what i need they will find a way to screw it up or it will take forever for them to do cuz they just don't get technology what so ever......

you cant photochop it in
in your case the rules kinda suck, but not much you could do about it other than having someone else take the pictures for you or wait until you home to sell the wheels

you could always throw them on ebay, 5x114.3 bolt pattern fits a lot of other cars besides mazdas
(5-lug hondas, nissans, toyotas, chryslers etc.)

and I just looked again and noticed they're dual drilled (probably 5x100 - so they'll fit Audis/VWs)
